From left:
LORO, directed by: Paolo Sorrentino with cast: Toni Servillo, Elena Sofia Ricci, Riccardo Scamarcio, is a take on Silvio Berlusconi and his inner circle . A hot topic given the rage for populist megalomaniacs at the moment.
THE GUEST original title: L'OSPITE, directed by: Duccio Chiarini with cast: Daniele Parisi, Silvia D'Amico, Anna Bellato. The ebb and flow of relationships is seen through the eyes of a modest, highly sensitive academic as he experiences the end of his own relationship.
EUFORIA, directed by: Valeria Golino with cast: Riccardo Scamarcio, Valerio Mastandrea, Isabella Ferrari. A frank but tender exposition of hedonism versus the cruel reality of terminal illness, with a hefty dose of humour and style in this absorbing film about two estranged brothers.
